Our focus is on skills. We want to ensure that our communities – which represent 2.6 million residents and 100,000 businesses – have the skills and knowledge they need to secure jobs, recruit talented employees, and generally thrive.
The green and digital sectors are facing significant skills shortages, and we intend to address that. We want to secure the development and delivery of high-quality green and digital skills training, and maximise the potential of the shift to a greener and more digitally-able economy.
