Make A Pledge - Local London Skills Providers

There are other opportunities to support Local London Skills Providers in addition to joining our employer advisory board.

You can offer as much or as little of your time as you’re able to – whether that’s delivering an expert seminar, attending a careers event, or hosting a site visit for learners.

We’re making it simple to engage with skills providers and local authorities across the Local London region. Simply pledge the support you and your colleagues can realistically commit to! This could be:

joining the Employer Advisory Board (time commitment: approximately one meeting per quarter)
delivering an expert talk or seminar to learners (time commitment: approximately two hours)
local representation at careers and skills fairs (time commitment: approximately one day. Can also be a great opportunity for younger colleagues to represent the business)
host construction site or workplace visits (time commitment: approximately one day)
work placement and internships (time commitment: approximately one to four weeks)
encourage secondees from your business to support teaching staff with masterclasses/workshops (time commitment: tailored)
support apprenticeships (time commitment: tailored)
support T-Levels (time commitment: tailored)
