Last week, Phil Bourne visited New City College (NCC) Epping Campus. Welcomed by Peter Munday, Steve Hedges, and Ish Mirza, he discussed with the team how they were using technology to transform learning experiences for their learners. A highlight of the visit was NCC’s state-of-the-art immersive room, which has the potential to rapidly transform their collaborative learning strategy.
During the visit, Ish Mirza provided a demonstration of BodySwaps, an advanced virtual reality (VR) tool that NCC has been exploring as a valuable curriculum addition (the college currently are using a demo). Ish explained how the technology is being effectively embedded across multiple departments, enriching the educational experience and ensuring students are equipped with vital skills for the future.
NCC have invited a number of other Local London Skills Providers into its’ campuses as part of their commitment to being at the forefront of educational technology, showcasing how it combines forward-thinking strategies with practical solutions to enhance student engagement and success. Thank you for hosting the visit.
