Specialist training facilities: a windfarm operations training centre at CONEL  

Project:  Meridian Water – regeneration project creating 10,000 homes, 6,000 jobs, new infrastructure and green spaces. This includes the Troubadour Meridian Water Studios, bringing state-of-the-art film production space to the borough. The studios will provide new digital job opportunities, and the opportunity to work with clients including the BBC, Netflix and Marvel Studios.

Project 2: the Creative Industries Hub, part of the Mayor’s Academy programme, offers pathways into work in the creative sector for residents of Waltham Forest, Enfield, Haringey, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Redbridge and Havering. The creative industries are expected to generate around £47 billion for the London economy, and the Hub will support people into digital career pathways including digital marketing, graphic design, film and TV, 2D animation, and web design.
